Earlgate is the capital of Nevah-Nevah, the Angel homeland, and is widely considered to be the capital of All-That-Is. It is the largest city in the world.
Roughly 30% of the population of Earlgate is Angels, with the rest being split evenly between all the other races. It is one of the few Angel Islands where Pirates are tolerated, with Earlgate Harbour (and surrounding ocean) being one of the few "neutral zones" between all the Pirate Clans.
Earlgate consists of three hands, the centre one being the tallest, and also the home of the Voice of Norbi, the God of Flight (who is also the leader of the Angels, due to their theocratic government.)
