Halflings

Halflings is a word used as an insult by some, and a badge of pride by others. Other words with the same meaning are "cross-breed", "half-cast", "half-half" and "multi-race", though the first two are generally used offensively, while the last two are more neutral.

A halfling is the child of two members of different races.
